Dr Brian Dixon

Dr. Brian Dixon earned his Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Oregon State University where he focused his research on the aging process. Dr. Dixon then went on to do his post-doctoral work at the Linus Pauling Institute investigating the therapeutic potential of alpha-lipoic acid in the elderly. Dr. Dixon has authored scientific manuscripts on topics including cancer, antioxidants, gene/nutrient interactions, cellular signaling, stress coping mechanisms, detoxification pathways, the aging process, and a book chapter examining the role of dietary antioxidants and cardiovascular disease in the elderly.
